Teach with Purpose. Lead with Excellence. British Swim School Metro Charlotte is seeking an Advanced Swim Instructor to join our Ballantyne team. This role is designed for an experienced swim professional who is confident teaching all age groups — from young beginners to adults — and can elevate the quality and depth of our instruction. If you have 3-4+ years of teaching experience, thrive in the water, and are passionate about water safety and skill progression, we would love to meet you.

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

3-4+ years of swim instruction experience Experience with Adaptive Swim Lessons (neurodivergent swimmers, sensory needs, physical accommodations) Experience teaching all age groups, including adults Strong understanding of stroke mechanics and skill progression Confident leading both group, semi-private lessons, and private lessons Available at least 1-2 weekdays + 1 weekend day Professional, reliable, and communicative

Strongly Preferred:

Background coaching higher-level swimmers or swim team experience Experience preparing swimmers for pre-competitive or competitive settings Lifeguard and/or CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) What You'll Do Teach advanced-level swim lessons using British Swim School curriculum Provide technical stroke refinement and skill progression Work with swimmers preparing for swim team or advanced aquatic goals Support adaptive swimmers with patience, creativity, and professionalism Deliver exceptional customer service to families Serve as a role model and leader within the teaching team Why Join British Swim School Metro Charlotte?
