Position Type Part-Time | Event-Based | Independent Contractor Compensation Paid Per Event for a Clinic/Camp Compensation varies based on: Event size Number of participants Coaching experience Event revenue Payment is issued following completion of approved events and in accordance with Supreme World's event compensation structure. About Supreme World Supreme World LLC is a sports development organization dedicated to helping youth athletes reach their full potential through basketball training, mentorship, leadership development, and life skills education. Our mission is to develop the mind, body, and character of every athlete we serve while creating positive experiences through camps, clinics, leagues, and community programs. Position Summary Supreme World is seeking passionate and energetic Basketball Coaches to join our Event Coach Pool. Coaches will assist with youth camps, clinics, skills training sessions, tournaments, and special events throughout the year. This is an event-based position with flexible scheduling and no guaranteed hours. Coaches are contacted and scheduled based on upcoming programming needs. Responsibilities Lead and supervise youth basketball activities and drills Teach fundamental basketball skills including: Ball handling Shooting Passing Defense Footwork Create a positive and encouraging learning environment Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline Assist with camp and clinic setup and breakdown Ensure participant safety at all times Support event registration and check-in procedures when needed Serve as a positive role model for youth athletes Communicate professionally with parents, athletes, and staff Follow all Supreme World policies and procedures Preferred Qualifications Basketball playing and/or coaching experience Former high school, college, or professional athlete preferred Experience working with youth athletes Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable transportation Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (not required) Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must successfully complete an interview process Must pass any required background screening prior to working with youth participants Must maintain professional conduct while representing Supreme World What We Offer Flexible scheduling Opportunity to impact youth athletes Professional coaching experience Networking opportunities within sports and recreation Potential for recurring coaching opportunities Opportunity for advancement into Lead Coach, Camp Director, or Program Director positions Scheduling This position operates on an event basis.
