We are seeking passionate and dedicated coaches who are committed to developing athletes, building a championship culture, and helping young women reach their full potential on and off the court. As an adidas Jr. 3SSB program, Carolina Reaper Stars provides athletes with a premier platform to compete against top programs throughout the country while receiving high-level coaching and player development. Our mission is to create an environment centered around skill development, basketball IQ, leadership, accountability, and exposure. Coaches within our organization will play a vital role in developing athletes, implementing our basketball philosophy, and representing the Carolina Reaper Stars brand with professionalism and excellence. Duties Lead practices focused on advanced skill development, basketball fundamentals, team concepts, and competitive preparation. Teach and implement offensive and defensive systems while improving players' basketball IQ and decision-making. Prepare teams for adidas Jr. 3SSB competition, tournaments, showcases, and high-level events. Create a competitive yet positive environment focused on growth, accountability, and teamwork. Develop individual athletes through constructive feedback, mentorship, and personalized instruction. Assist with player evaluations, development plans, and identifying areas for improvement. Build strong relationships with athletes and families through communication and trust. Collaborate with program leadership and other coaches to maintain consistency throughout the organization. Represent Carolina Reaper Stars and adidas with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. Help continue building one of the premier girls basketball programs in the Carolinas. Experience Previous coaching experience at the AAU, middle school, high school, collegiate, or professional level preferred. Strong understanding of player development, basketball fundamentals, offensive concepts, and defensive strategies. Experience coaching female athletes and a passion for developing young women through basketball. Ability to teach, motivate, and connect with athletes of different skill levels. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to building a positive team culture focused on discipline, accountability, and player growth. Ability to work collaboratively within a growing basketball organization. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Carolina Reaper Stars is not just another travel basketball program.
