Job Description
VARSITY TRACK AND FIELD ASSISTANT COACH - POLE VAULT
Durham Academy is accepting applications for part-time varsity assistant track coach with a specialization in pole vault.Position :
Teaching, coaching, and mentoring 5-10 high school athletes participating in the pole vault event. Will report directly to the Head Coaches.Qualifications:
- Experience competing as a pole vault athlete at the high school or college level.
- Can teach basic, intermediate, and advanced skills regarding mechanics, technique, and form.
- Must be able to develop and implement workouts appropriate for varying skill levels.
- Ability to communicate and work well with other coaches, parents, and student-athletes.
- Enjoy helping student-athletes reach their potential.
- Must have valid driver s license.
- Attend practices and meets .
When:
- February-Mid May
- Practice times Monday through Friday, 3:30 to 5:30
- No weekend responsibilities other than attending the Conference and State Meet at the end of the season DA Employees Are culturally competent and believe in the central importance of diversity and equity in the life of a school community.
