Youth Soccer Coach - Academy Program Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association Greenville, NC Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal | Contract $2,400 - $3,800 a year 7 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Career development plan Professional development assistance Opportunities for advancement Flexible schedule Qualifications Sports team experience Soccer coaching Computer skills Sports activities for children Working with elementary school students Working with youth Full Job Description PGSA is looking for coaches within our Academy Program, which primarily serves boys and girls, ages U8-U10. We are looking for coaches who are passionate about developing our youngest age groups and instilling a love for the game of soccer. The Academy fall season runs early August through the beginning of November and the spring season takes place from late January through beginning of May. The PGSA Academy program is designed to prepare players to get to Classic soccer with comfortability on the ball and a clear understanding of how to play the game of soccer. This is a part-time position. Coaches are required to be available for practices 2 evenings a week (typically between 5:30pm-7:30pm), with games on the weekends (primarily Saturdays) . The curriculum, which coaches are expected to follow, is designed and implemented by the Academy technical director.

Requirements:
Coaching qualifications (USSF or foreign equivalent) Coaching experience in youth soccer programs Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and enthusiasm about contributing to the success of the club Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with elementary-aged children Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills Age 18 or over Applicant must be able to comply with NCYSA Risk Management and SafeSport as well any other applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by
