Job Description

Highland Football Club (HFC) is seeking positive, hard-working, and accountable individuals who are passionate about supporting youth soccer players' development, both on and off the field, in an expanding soccer environment. We are looking for quality people to add to our HFC Academy & Intermediate programs which serve players from 8U
  • 14U. Currently we are filling roles for our U8
  • U12 Hendersonville Academy programs for the Fall 2026 season.
Candidates should possess the drive to be a part of an experienced, ambitious, and dedicated team, with a focus on continuous progress and development. HFC will provide great mentorship and support additional licensure for successful candidates. Candidates will be asked to be available at the following times throughout the season. Tuesdays @ 5pm
  • 8pm Thursdays @ 5pm
  • 8pm Saturdays from 7:30am
  • 2pm Responsibilities (per team) include, but are not limited to: Conducting 24 training sessions in ordinance with our HFC Club Curriculum Coaching 8-9 games during the season Establishing effective and transparent communication channels with players, staff, and parents Evaluating players in relation to their current development pathway Fostering the growth of players and teams, creating a supportive and nurturing performance environment Working with staff to maximize the effectiveness of the club both on and off the field Position Requirements Coaches must have a minimum of 3 Years playing/coaching experience at the club/high-school/collegiate level
Preferred USSF License Required:
USSF Grassroots License (7v7, 9v9, or 11v11) , or above A valid driver's license and access to their own means of transportation Applicants are required to provide a minimum of two professional references Employment is dependent on completing a risk management background check and approval by North Carolina Youth Soccer Association risk management program
