Position Details Position Information Division Athletics Department Athletics (Office) Working Title Head Coach Strength Condition - 2739 Vacancy Type Exempt Professional Staff (EPS) Min T/E Requirements Master's degree required or Bachelor's degree and two years' experience. The Head Coach of Strength Condition must have significant knowledge of, and demonstrated success in, coaching strength conditioning and possess excellent teaching and motivational skills. Must possess ability required to work effectively in the environment of an academically demanding institution and abide by all NCAA Division II and institutional policies. No If yes, please indicate the end date of the grant.(if applicable) n/a Primary Purpose of Organization Unit Developing successful adults through a championship intercollegiate student-athlete experience. Primary Purpose of Position Lead all strength & conditioning scheduling, staff, software, and outcomes for varsity athletics. Oversee applicable apps and equipment upkeep. Manage Athletic performance budget and coordinate department-wide nutrition programming. Job Description The Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Performance/Head Coach of Strength Condition is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects related to the operations of the UNC Pembroke sport program. The Head Coach of Strength Condition will be responsible for all phases of coaching a Division II athletic performance program including: recruiting, budget management, hiring and supervising assistant coaches, and interaction with campus and community constituent groups. Additional duties include program management, fundraising, planning and scheduling strength practices, gameday operations, transportation, etc. Additional administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. This is an eleven month position. Management Preference quantitative metrics Lic or Certification required by statute or regulation CPR, AED and First Aid certification.
