Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach/ Cheer coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gymnastics and a strong background in coaching or teaching physical education. Must have 2 years of coaching experience. This role involves working with students of various ages and skill levels, fostering their growth in gymnastics while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging gymnastics training programs for students at different skill levels. Provide instruction on proper techniques, safety protocols, and routines. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety rules and regulations. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize events, competitions, and showcases. Engage with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with coaching best practices. Requirements 2 Years previous experience in sports coaching or teaching, particularly in gymnastics or related fields such as cheerleading, martial arts / ninja. Strong background in working with children, and able to pay a background check. Must be extremely reliable. References required from past employers, parents or past students. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A commitment to promoting a positive learning environment through behavior management strategies.
