Job Description
Part-Time Youth Sports Coach - Golf, Pickleball, Tennis or Cheer Experience in at least one sport is all you need. You do not need experience in all four. TGA Premier Sports is hiring part-time Youth Sports Coaches with experience or interest in Golf, Pickleball, Tennis, Cheer, or any combination of these sports to lead fun, beginner-friendly youth programs throughout Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding Triangle communities. Our programs bring sports instruction directly to schools and other community locations, giving kids the opportunity to learn new sports in a fun, active, and supportive environment. Classes are offered throughout the day and into the evening, with programs running as late as 8:00 PM , making this an ideal part-time position for college students, teachers, coaches, athletes, retirees, stay-at-home parents, and others looking for flexible work. Prior coaching experience is not required. We provide training, curriculum, and equipment. What You'll Do As a TGA Youth Sports Coach, you will: Lead fun, beginner-friendly sports classes for children Coach Golf, Pickleball, Tennis, Cheer, or a combination of these sports based on your experience and interests Teach basic skills, rules, terminology, and sportsmanship using TGA's provided curriculum Create a positive, energetic, and encouraging environment Manage small groups of children during classes Set up and pack up provided sports equipment Follow TGA safety and program procedures Communicate reliably with TGA program coordinators and school staff Our programs are designed to build confidence, coordination, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of sports and physical activity. Who We're Looking For Our best coaches are people who: Enjoy working with children Have a positive, energetic personality Are comfortable leading a group Are dependable, punctual, and professional Enjoy sports and physical activity Have reliable transportation to program locations Have consistent availability for scheduled programs Experience in at least one of Golf, Pickleball, Tennis, or Cheer is a plus. You do not need experience in all four.
