JOB DESCRIPTION
 Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is seeking applicants for a Head Baseball Coach. DCB Baseball competes at the NJCAA Division II level and is a member of the Mon-Dak Conference. Major responsibilities for this position include demonstrating competency in sport skill instruction, conducting practice sessions, managing the program's budget, constructing and coordinating the yearly competition schedule, and conducting extensive recruiting. A sincere interest in the personal, academic and athletic progress of student-athletes is required. The successful candidate will also demonstrate leadership ability and professional behavior when dealing with student-athletes, college staff and the public. Dependent on an applicant's education and experience, and the availability of vacant full or part time positions at the college, there is the potential to have this position paired with additional campus duties to create full-time employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
 Bachelor's Degree is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with student athletes in season and out of season. Ability to travel and work a varied schedule. Playing or coaching experience is preferred.
DATE AVAILABLE
 The hired candidate will be able to start the position as soon as possible, will be expected to recruit for the Fall of 2026 season
CLOSING DATE
 Screening of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until a suitable candidate is selected.
SALARY/BENEFITS
Salary commensurate with experience and education. If paired with other duties on campus, there is the potential for a fulltime 9-month position with a benefit package to include family health insurance and retirement.
