Job Description
Assistant Track & Field Coach (Temp) Part-time, 9-month, Non-Benefited 00106290 Internal/External Position Description Valley City State University is searching for an assistant track and field coach positions within their Men's and Women's Track & Field program. Proficient in Jumps, Sprints and Hurdles. Responsibilities include developing, directing, and advancing competitive programs. This position will help identify, recruit, and select quality student-athletes; assist in the organization and planning of practice and competitive strategies in their specialty; oversee athletes' skill and physical development. Enforce team rules; demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and commitment to compliance with Valley City State University, Frontier conference/NAIA national policies, rules, and regulations. Minimum Qualifications Must be highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal, and written communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, and have a valid driver's license. Demonstrated ability to coach, recruit, and communicate with highly talented student-athletes as well as adhere to the policies and procedures of Valley City State University, Frontier Conference, and NAIA experience. Compensation $5,000 annually and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Application Information Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
