To Be Determined Job Description Gering Public Schools is seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Cheerleading Coach to help lead our cheer team in supporting school events, athletic competitions, and community performances for the 2026-27 school year! The Assistant Cheerleading Coach is responsible for helping to organizie, supervise, and instruct the cheer team, foster a positive environment that emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and school pride under the guidance of the head coach. Qualifications Previous experience in cheerleading and/or coaching (preferred). Knowledge of stunting techniques, choreography, and cheer safety guidelines. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes. Certification in CPR/First Aid and/or AACCA or NFHS Cheer Safety Certification preferred. Must pass background check per school policy.
