Position Overview NVSA is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Youth Lacrosse Coach to lead instructional classes for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade . This is an excellent opportunity for college students, current or former lacrosse players, coaches, and individuals who enjoy working with children in a positive, active environment. Our Fall Semester runs from September 14th through November 8th, with the opportunity for continued coaching during future seasonal programs. Schedule This is a part-time position with weekday evening and weekend coaching opportunities, starting September 14th through November 8th.
Typical Coaching Hours:
Weekday evenings (after 3:30pm) Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons Additional coaching opportunities may be available throughout the year. Key Responsibilities Lead fun, organized, and engaging lacrosse classes for players in Kindergarten through 8th grade Teach age-appropriate fundamentals, including passing, catching, shooting, dodging, defense, and game play Foster a positive, encouraging environment that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during classes Arrive on time and prepared with drills and lesson plans Set up and put away equipment before and after each session Qualifications Previous experience playing and/or coaching lacrosse required Experience working with children preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic Ability to motivate and engage athletes of varying ages and skill levels Must be authorized to work in the
United States Pay:
$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
