A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.

We are hiring:
Fall Team Coaches Facility Instructors This is an opportunity to work with motivated youth and high school baseball players in a competitive, development-focused environment. We are looking for coaches who can teach the game, communicate effectively, hold players accountable, and represent the NJ Rising Rebels organization professionally. Our ideal candidates are passionate about player development and understand that successful coaching goes beyond wins and losses. We want instructors who can help athletes improve their skills, confidence, preparation, and understanding of the game. Responsibilities Depending on the position, responsibilities may include: Coaching practices, games, tournaments, and team activities Providing individual or small-group baseball instruction Teaching proper fundamentals in hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, throwing, and baserunning Creating organized, purposeful, and age-appropriate training sessions Providing players with clear and constructive feedback Communicating professionally with athletes, families, and other staff members Promoting accountability, effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork Maintaining a safe and positive training environment Assisting with facility programs, camps, clinics, evaluations, and special events Representing the NJ Rising Rebels organization with professionalism Qualifications Strong candidates will have: Previous baseball playing, coaching, or instructional experience A strong understanding of baseball fundamentals and player development The ability to communicate effectively with youth and high school athletes A positive, energetic, and professional coaching presence Dependability and strong organizational skills Evening and weekend availability during the fall season Reliable transportation A willingness to collaborate with other coaches and follow organizational standards College playing experience, high school or travel baseball coaching experience, and specialized instructional experience are preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to complete any required background screening before working with athletes.
