Felician University - 3.2 Rutherford, NJ Job Details Part-time $10,000 - $16,000 a year 10 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with post-secondary students Sports coaching experience Wrestling Team training Student support Team motivation (leadership skill) Teaching University experience Full Job Description Felician University is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, energic, enthusiastic and experienced athletics professional to serve as Assistant Coach for Men's Wrestling. The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the Head Coach with all aspects of the Men's Wresting program at the University, with primary responsibility for teaching and training student-athletes in the rules, regulations, equipment needs, skills and techniques of wrestling. The position is a fully in-person, part-time appointment not to exceed 25 hours per week.
Position Type:
Part-time, 12-months,
Exempt Department:
Athletics Bachelor's degree required. Degree requirement may be waived with significant relative practical coaching experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-year collegiate coaching experience in wrestling or related sport; strong written and verbal communications skills; proven ability to engage, motivate and direct a team of student athletes of diverse backgrounds and experience levels; detail-oriented; ability to instruct skills associated with wrestling; ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends; ability to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.
