Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Swim Instructor and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their aquatic goals! This full-time or part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to lead engaging swimming lessons, promote water safety, and foster confidence in the pool. Whether you're passionate about coaching children, teaching sports-specific techniques, or sharing your expertise in lifesaving skills, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive, energetic environment that encourages growth and enjoyment. All positions are paid, emphasizing our commitment to valuing your skills and dedication. Duties Deliver high-quality swimming instruction tailored to individual skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers Lead group and private lessons, incorporating sports-specific training such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, or martial arts when applicable Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including AED operation and first aid/CPR certification maintenance Manage behavior and motivate students to stay engaged and improve their swimming techniques Communicate effectively with clients and parents regarding progress, safety procedures, and lesson plans Conduct water safety demonstrations and emergency response drills in accordance with health club standards Collaborate with team members to develop innovative coaching strategies that enhance skill development and enjoyment Experience Proven experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard with strong water safety knowledge Background in sports coaching such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, judo, karate, or similar disciplines is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and manage classroom behavior confidently Experience teaching physical education or working within health clubs or gyms is a plus Strong communication skills for clear client interaction and team collaboration Certifications in CPR/AED and first aid are required; additional sports coaching certifications are advantageous Previous experience in team leadership roles or sports team participation enhances your suitability for this position Join us to make waves in the lives of our swimmers!
