Table tennis experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience playing or coaching tennis, badminton, pickleball, or other racket sports are encouraged to apply. We provide training in our table tennis program, drills, and coaching methods. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sports, working with children, and being part of a growing youth enrichment program. Responsibilities Coach and engage elementary school students in structured table tennis sessions Follow our program format, lesson plans, drills, and coaching instructions Learn and demonstrate the table tennis skills and activities used in our program Keep sessions organized, active, positive, and enjoyable Lead sessions independently when needed Communicate clearly and professionally with students, school staff, and other coaches Pay close attention to schedules, program procedures, equipment, and other details Help with setup and breakdown of equipment as needed Qualifications Experience playing or coaching a racket sport such as tennis, table tennis, badminton, or pickleball Experience working with, teaching, or coaching children Table tennis experience is a plus, but not required; training is provided Comfortable managing and engaging groups of elementary-age students Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions consistently Strong attention to detail Ability to take initiative and lead a session independently when needed Must have a reliable car and transportation to school locations Schedule Part-time during the school year Programs generally take place between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM on weekdays Coaches can work on the weekdays they are available Once scheduled, we are looking for consistent availability on those afternoons throughout the program session This position is best suited for someone who has dependable weekday afternoon availability What We Offer Training provided in our table tennis curriculum and coaching approach A fun, active work environment working with children Consistent part-time afternoon work Opportunity to take on additional sessions and responsibilities Growth opportunities for dependable coaches who demonstrate strong coaching, leadership, and organizational skills We are particularly interested in candidates who are dependable, enjoy working with kids, have a racket-sports background, and can confidently represent our program in schools.
