Job Description

The Assistant Women's Softball Coach- 2nd Assistant is responsible for all phases of developing and maintaining a successful Women's Softball Program at the College through their support of the Head Women's Softball Coach. This is a part-time seasonal position. •This position coaches the Gloucester Campus Roadrunners• Recruitment of potential student-athletes Practice preparation In and out-of season training Game/match day management Retention of quality student-athletes Ensure the success and safety of student athletes on and off the field Safe transportation of team members to and from away contests Adherence to all NJCAA, Region 19, RCSJ and Athletic Department rules and regulations Assist the Head Coach with fundraising and development of alumni and community relations Ability to be a team player within the Athletics Department and the College Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Executive Director of Athletics Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport of softball is required Associates degree required Valid driver's license in good standing required To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
