Gymnastics Nevada, located in Reno & Sparks, is one of the largest and most complete gymnastics facilities in the west. Our mission is to build happy, healthy kids from the inside out through the love of gymnastics. We offer a wide range of programs for children from toddlers to high-level teenage recreational gymnastics, as well as competitive teams. We believe in creating a supportive and energetic environment where kids not only develop their gymnastics skills but also grow stronger, more confident, and ready to tackle life's challenges.
Job Overview:
We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic individuals to join our team as Youth Gymnastics Coaches. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or new to gymnastics, if you're passionate about working with kids and inspiring them to stay active, have fun, and work hard, we want to hear from you! As a part-time coach, you'll be responsible for leading children ages 3-14 in a fun, safe, and supportive environment where they'll develop both their gymnastics abilities and their love for fitness.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create a
Positive Environment:
Greet and welcome all students and families with a smile, making sure everyone feels valued and excited to be at the gym.
Safety First:
Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including making sure students are wearing their bands/belts and that policies are adhered to.
Consistency & Structure:
Provide consistency in your classes to help students feel secure and successful.
Maintain Cleanliness:
Keep the recreational areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.
Support Our Mission:
Help foster a fun and exciting atmosphere where kids are motivated to stay active, work hard, and reach their full potential. Teach with Fun & Safety in
Mind:
Use your enthusiasm to teach gymnastics skills in a way that's both fun and safe, while building strong, confident kids.
Ongoing Learning:
Participate in staff training and continuing education to grow your coaching skills and stay updated on the best practices for teaching young athletes.
Reliable Attendance:
Show up consistently and on time to every class, as your presence is essential for the kids' growth and progress.
