Job Description
Do you love game of soccer and working with kids? Are you looking to make extra money without a huge commitment? Can you see yourself impacting young lives and getting them excited to play the game of soccer. If so then Mighty Kicks may be the job for you.
Overview:
- Mighty Kicks uses soccer as a method for developing gross motor skills, developing character, and having a positive mpact on the overall development of young children.
Mighty Kicks coaches are:
Responsible:
Committed to doing what is expected as a coach and a representative of Mighty Kicks. This includes being punctual to all coaching sessions, managing a group of up to 12 children, as well as effectively communicating with school directors, teachers, and parents.Enthusiastic:
Excited to work with and connect with young kids. Able to create a fun and exciting atmosphere that makes Mighty Kicks the best part of each child's day.Fun-loving:
Must enjoy having fun with young children, as well as being imaginative and goofy with them.Organized :
Conducting each session according to the curriculum and maintaining a quality experience for all.

Scheduling is flexible and we can work with your availability. However, once a schedule is set, it will remain that way for the current season (8- 10 weeks long), as you will be at the same locations at the same times each week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to players to enhance their soccer abilities
- Follow a proven curriculum and pre-planned sessions
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters player growth and enjoyment
- Communicate effectively with players, parents
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation for traveling to coaching sessions
- Ability to successfully pass a national, state, and county background check.
- Experience working with children, ages 2-8 preferred, but not required
- Soccer playing/coaching experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
- Nice-to-have skills: Karate, Basketball, Childcare, Health club experience, Lifeguard certification, Physical education background Join us in shaping the next generation of soccer players and fostering a love for the game!
