We are especially interested in coaches who want to grow with our organization, commit to regularly scheduled hours, and genuinely buy into our coaching philosophy. Our Philosophy At Top Notch, we believe great coaching is about more than mechanics. Our goal is to develop complete, confident, thinking athletes who understand the game, compete with purpose, and take ownership of their development. We believe athletes improve when they receive high-level instruction, meaningful feedback, purposeful repetitions, and consistent coaching. Our coaches teach the why , not just the how. We want athletes to understand the game, make better decisions, recognize opportunities to improve, and learn how to make adjustments. Outwork the competition isn't simply about doing more. It's about being more intentional with the work you do. What We're Looking For We are looking for coaches who: Have experience coaching softball at the youth, travel, high school, or collegiate level Have a strong understanding of hitting, pitching, catching, and/or defensive development Can work effectively with athletes of different ages and ability levels Create a positive, energetic, and competitive training environment Communicate well with athletes and families Provide meaningful instruction and feedback Are passionate about athlete development Are willing to learn and grow as a coach Are coachable and willing to adopt Top Notch's coaching philosophy and teaching standards Want to be part of a consistent coaching staff rather than simply provide one-off lessons We value experience, but coachability and willingness to learn are just as important. The Opportunity We are building a new membership model centered around consistent small-group training and long-term athlete development. This means our coaches will have the opportunity to build recurring relationships with athletes rather than simply conducting individual lessons. As we grow, opportunities may include: Small-group training Individual instruction Team training Camps and clinics Specialty programs We are looking for coaches interested in regularly scheduled hours , particularly weekday afternoons and evenings. Weekend availability is a plus.
