HuddleUP Youth Coach — Help Kids Build Confidence, Teamwork & Social Skills HuddleUP Football LLC Hamburg, NY Job Details Part-time | Contract $20 - $30 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Some college Teamwork Childhood development Teaching Camp experience Full Job Description Youth Sports Coach - HuddleUP Football HuddleUP Football is looking for energetic, dependable, and positive coaches who genuinely enjoy working with children! Are you a college student, teacher, athlete, coach, daycare professional, or simply someone who loves helping kids learn and grow? You may be a great fit for HuddleUP. HuddleUP is a social-skill-based flag football program for children ages 2-12 . Our coaches lead fun, age-appropriate football activities while helping children develop important skills such as teamwork, communication, confidence, listening, cooperation, and sportsmanship. You do NOT need to be a football expert. We provide training and a structured curriculum. What You'll Do As a HuddleUP Coach, you will: Lead fun, structured flag football lessons for children ages 2-12 Work with small groups of approximately 5-10 children Teach basic football skills through games and activities Encourage teamwork, communication, confidence, and positive social interaction Create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for every child Follow HuddleUP's curriculum and coaching expectations Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, daycare staff, and HuddleUP leadership Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to engage with children What We're Looking For We are looking for people who are: Energetic and enthusiastic Patient and comfortable working with young children Dependable and responsible Positive and encouraging Comfortable leading a small group Able to communicate clearly with children and adults Professional and respectful Willing to learn and follow a structured curriculum Comfortable being active and participating in outdoor activities Able to reliably travel to assigned program locations Experience With Children Is a Plus — But Not Everything Experience in any of the following is helpful: Youth coaching Daycare or childcare Teaching Camp counseling After-school programs Volunteer work with children Sports Education or child development Recreation Leadership We are also interested in college students and strong candidates who may not have traditional childcare experience but demonstrate excellent leadership, responsibility, and enthusiasm for working with children.
