Youth Sports & Fitness Coach About Us We run fitness programs for kids and teens to stay active, build healthy habits, and learn sports skills. We are hiring a youth sports and fitness coach to lead our Saturday fitness classes for kids and our 1-on-1 adaptive fitness sessions.
Job Description Saturday Fitness Coach:
Lead structured group sessions for youth at an indoor location. 1-on-1
Adaptive Sports & Fitness Coach:
Deliver individualized 1-on-1 coaching for teens with special needs focused on adaptive fitness and sport instruction.
Key Responsibilities :
Weekend Group Classes:
Lead group fitness classes running for kids from 9:45am to 12:45pm. 1-on-1
Sessions:
Conduct individual adaptive fitness and sports coaching sessions at the client's home or community setting.
Safety & Environment:
Responsible for storing, transporting, and setting up equipment, as well as maintaining a safe space for participants.
Qualifications & Skills :
Experience:
Experience coaching, teaching, or training youth in sports, fitness, or adaptive settings is preferred.
Schedule Flexibility:
Ability to work the set Saturday class times (9:45am - 12:45pm) plus schedule 1-on-1 clients later in the day or during the week.
Transit:
Reliable vehicle/car required for transporting equipment and commuting between locations. Certifications (Preferred): Personal Training, Group Fitness, Youth/Adaptive Certification, or CPR/AED.

Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
Group Classes:
Saturdays (9:45am - 12:45pm) 1-on-1
Coaching:
Make your own hours (flexible scheduling during the week or on weekends)

Queens & Nassau County Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
