Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
To help Head Coach by attending some practices and both Men's and some Women's Basketball games, as well as providing feedback to the team when needed. Helping with or providing choreography to the team at times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Lead practices when necessary or provide feedback on team based choreography and help sharpen routines. Work closely with Head Coach on a practice & game schedule for the team, up to and during basketball season. Knowledge of basic audio equipment to for practices Maintain confidentiality of information (including but not limited to: student and employee personal information, student grades, etc.), both during and after their employment with the University. Any question regarding the confidentiality of material, should be referred to the supervisor. Any violation shall subject the employee to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Perform other duties as assigned.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
50% Practice and Game attendance. 25% Choreography 25% Working with Head Coach on ideas for team for fundraising, community service, costumes for competitions and game days.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Dance experience Teaching dance experience a plus Work well with the traditional college-age student population Ability to work non-traditional business hours including weekends & evenings
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
include a Bachelor's degree; a minimum of one year experience in related field A valid New York State driver's license is required that satisfies both University and insurance company underwriting rules and regulations for driving a motor vehicle
