This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love for baseball while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness. As a Bulldogs Baseball Academy Coach, you will create a positive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and enjoyment of the game for players of all skill levels. Responsibilities Lead and organize baseball practices and games, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed Develop tailored training plans that improve individual skills such as batting, pitching, fielding, and base running Foster a team-oriented atmosphere by promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and respectful communication among players Monitor player performance and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards, including first aid procedures and AED operation when necessary Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members about schedules, progress, and upcoming events Manage behavior on and off the field through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Requirements Prior experience in sports coaching or team leadership roles, especially in baseball or similar sports Strong knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, and strategies Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or teaching capacity Certification in first aid and CPR; AED operation certification preferred but not mandatory (training available) Background in sports-specific training instruction such as soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading or climbing is a plus Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while maintaining a positive attitude Experience with behavior management strategies to foster a respectful team environment Additional experience in martial arts, swimming, karate or childcare can enhance coaching effectiveness Join us to make a meaningful impact on young athletes' lives by teaching essential skills both on and off the field.
