Summary:

Dutchess Community College seeks a talented Assistant Men's Soccer Coach to join the growing athletic department for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Assistant Men's Soccer Coach is responsible for helping with the organization, administration, and coaching of the Men's Soccer program, including supervising staff and student-athletes.

Duties:

Execute a clearly defined philosophy of coaching and teaching "sport." Recruit sufficiently qualified student-athletes. Effectively execute fundraising activities, including camps and clinics to help meet teams' financial goals. Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and provide support. Scout and prepare team for competition. Comply with College, NJCAA, Region 15, and Mid-Hudson Conference rules and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate soccer program.

Valid NY Driver's License Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree At least two years of soccer coaching experience at the high school level or at least two years of soccer coaching at the collegiate level.

Additional Information:

Positions in the Athletics Department are employees of the Dutchess Community College Association. This position is based on a 12-month employment agreement at $1,000 - $3,000 per season.
