Our school is hiring coaches for a variety of athletic opportunities including skills and drills camps, athletic clubs, and full seasons with competitive events. Coaches can pick the sport(s) and age levels they wish to work with, and have a high degree of control over the scheduling. Qualifications Be available at 3:30pm for practices or club sessions at least 1-2 days a week after school during the club timeframe or the season. Demonstrated Christian faith and lifestyle consistent with the mission of Heritage Christian School. Passion for mentoring and working with children and adolescents. Knowledge of the sport being coached. Previous coaching, teaching, or youth leadership experience. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead students with patience, enthusiasm, and consistency. Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families. Complete required background checks, pre-employment and random drug screenings, and any required certifications before coaching. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Demonstrate athletic skills and drills. Lift and carry athletic equipment (up to approximately 40 pounds). Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Respond quickly to emergencies involving students. Expectations for All Coaches Place student safety above competition. Model professionalism at all times.
