Job Description

The Gym Skills Mobile Gymnastics Coach is a
STRONG INDEPENDENT, SELF-STARTER
who is responsible for managing and delivering mobile gymnastics programs at various locations, such as schools, community centers, and private events. This role involves coaching gymnastics, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining equipment while fostering a fun and engaging learning environment for children and participants of all skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination & Delivery:
  • Conduct mobile gymnastics classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
  • Travel to various locations to set up and run gymnastics sessions.
  • Ensure all activities follow gymnastics safety protocols and best practices.
  • Adherence to Gym Skills' standards, procedures, inclusivity, culture, company values, customer facing subject matter expert.
Coaching & Instruction:
  • Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, movements, and techniques in an engaging and developmentally appropriate manner.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual students, ensuring inclusive and positive experiences.
  • Provide constructive feedback to participants to help them improve their skills.
Safety & Equipment Management:
  • Set up and break down the gymnastics equipment safely at each location.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Ensure personal vehicle (recommend SUV for this position) maintenance is done on a regularly scheduled rotation.
  • Monitor participants to prevent injuries and respond to any emergencies.
Administrative & Communication Duties:
  • Schedule and coordinate classes with schools, parents, and event organizers.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding program details and student progress.
  • Manage registrations, attendance records, and program evaluations.
Qualifications & Skills :
  • Background in gymnastics coaching, physical education, or a related field, focus on early childhood development through movement and understanding the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
  • Certifications in CPR/First Aid and gymnastics safety training is required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel in personal vehicle between locations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.
  • Valid driver's license and background check required.

Work Environment :
  • Requires travel to multiple locations.
  • Physical work, including lifting and setting up the gymnastics equipment.
  • Interaction with children, parents, and community members.
  • Candidate will serve as a mobile gym coordinator and be responsible for all duties as set forth, which shall include being responsible for all management, operations, marketing, sales, leadership, development, human resources, program growth, financial foresight and decision-making, and customer service aspects of the Gym Skills Mobile Gym concept.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
