Job Description

Description:
Western Reserve Academy (WRA) is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Diving Coach for the 2025-26 season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and guiding a competitive diving program that aligns with the Academy's commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead all aspects of the varsity diving program, including practices, meets, and athlete development. Promote a culture of sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growth in line with WRA's values. Collaborate with the Athletics Department on scheduling, logistics, equipment procurement, and strength and conditioning programs. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, faculty, and staff. Provide mentorship and leadership to student-athletes both on and off the field. Coaches receive support including administrative help with scheduling and game-day logistics, access to strength and conditioning resources, sport-specific nutrition education, and assistance with equipment and uniform ordering. Western Reserve Academy is an independent private coed boarding school for grades 9 - 12. WRA is committed to developing well rounded student-athletes and to wellness across campus. Founded in 1826, our beautiful 190 acre-campus is conveniently located 30 minutes east of Cleveland.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and bring prior experience either coaching or competing in diving. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a clear commitment to the mission of Western Reserve Academy and the overall growth and well-being of student-athletes.
