We're looking for an enthusiastic, dependable Gymnastics Instructor/Coach to help create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where every child can succeed. Experience coaching or a gymnastics background is preferred, but a positive attitude and love for working with youth are a must! Availability We are seeking instructors available Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings and/or Saturday mornings. Availability for even one of these days is welcome, you do not need to be available for all listed times. Job Overview Join our team as a Gymnastics Instructor/Coach and inspire athletes of all ages to reach their full potential! In this energetic role, you will lead engaging gymnastics classes and foster a positive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and teamwork. Your passion for gymnastics and sports coaching will help ignite enthusiasm in every student while ensuring their safety and enjoyment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on aspiring gymnasts and sports enthusiasts alike. Duties Teach fundamental techniques in gymnastics, including tumbling, balance beam, vaulting, and floor routines, ensuring proper form and safety. Monitor participants' progress, offer constructive feedback, and adjust training plans to meet individual goals. Enforce safety protocols by supervising equipment use, conducting behavior management, and responding promptly to emergencies using first aid and CPR skills. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior management strategies. Maintain a clean, organized training environment while adhering to YMCA standards and sports-specific safety guidelines. Skills Excellent communication skills to motivate students and engage with gymnasts effectively. Ability to foster discipline and positive attitudes during training sessions.
