Job Description
POSITION
Girls Junior Varsity Softball Coach
Supplemental Contract 2026/2027
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a valid Ohio Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit, CPR/First Aid Certification, Concussion Training, Ohio Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Training and Fundamentals of Coaching Certification.
Displays appropriate appearance, behavior, and language during games and practices.
Reflects a positive attitude and uses sound, consistent judgments when making decisions.
Ability to motivate athletes.
Prior coaching experience at or above high school level preferred.
Knows the fundamentals of the sport.
Has fundamental teaching and coaching ability.
Responsible for issuing, care, and collection of equipment.
Has respect, control, and discipline of athletes under his/her supervision.
Exhibits intensity and dedication to coaching.
Develops and distributes organized practice schedules which utilize staff, team and individuals to maximum potential.
Shows in season and out of season involvement and commitment to program.
Cooperates and communicates with players, parents, head and assistant coaches, athletic director and administration during the entire school year.
Abides by the rules and regulations of the OHSAA and NE8.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with the negotiated agreement's salary schedule.
