Job Summary Are you ready to lead the next generation of ninjas? Generation Ninja Adventure Gym is seeking a positive, high energy, growth-oriented Head Coach who loves working with kids and wants to help build something special. This role is for someone who can lead from the front, coach with confidence, create an incredible experience for kids and families, and help develop Generation Ninja into the top ninja, OCR, and youth movement facility in the area. Our gym helps kids build strength, confidence, coordination, athleticism, courage, and character through American Ninja Warrior-style obstacles, OCR, parkour, climbing, swinging, jumping, balance, and adventure-based movement. At Generation Ninja, our mission is simple: •Adventure Big. Grow Strong. The Head Coach will be a key leader in the gym. You will coach classes, develop athletes, support birthday parties and events, train other coaches, communicate with parents, and help create the systems and culture that make Generation Ninja a place families love. Duties Lead ninja, OCR, parkour, and youth movement classes Coach kids through obstacles using safe, age-appropriate progressions Create a positive, high-energy class environment Help kids build confidence, strength, coordination, athleticism, and problem-solving skills Communicate clearly with parents before, during, and after classes Support athlete development from beginner to advanced levels Help develop class curriculum, skill progressions, and weekly lesson plans Train, mentor, and support assistant coaches Help maintain coaching standards across all classes Assist with birthday parties, open gym, camps, competitions, and special events Help create an outstanding customer experience for kids, parents, and families Monitor safety, equipment setup, obstacle flow, and gym cleanliness Help with pictures, videos, social media content, and athlete highlights Support membership growth, retention, and family communication Participate in staff meetings and coach development sessions Help build a culture where kids are excited to come back every week Qualifications We are looking for a coach, teacher, trainer, athlete, or leader who has experience working with kids and is excited to learn the Generation Ninja coaching system. •Preferred qualifications include one or more of the following: •Experience coaching kids, youth sports, gymnastics, ninja, OCR, parkour, fitness, martial arts, climbing, or related movement programs Teaching, physical education, recreation, exercise science, health, fitness, or child development background Experience leading group classes or youth programs Strong understanding of safety, progressions, and age-appropriate coaching CPR / First Aid certification preferred Ninja, parkour, gymnastics, personal training, or youth coaching certification preferred but not required Must be willing to learn, grow, and follow our coaching standards If you are positive, growth-oriented, and love helping kids become stronger, more confident, and more capable while growing with a mission-driven gym, this could be the perfect role for you. Pay:
$22.35 - $26.92 per hour
