Football is a complex and highly specialized sport, requiring dedicated coaching at each position to ensure that players receive the technical instruction, strategic guidance, and individualized support needed to perform at the highest level. Central State University is seeking highly motivated and experienced Position Coaches to lead and develop student-athletes while overseeing the game strategy. The positions require strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills to contribute to the overall success of the football team. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
    Technical Skills:
    Strong knowledge of position play, techniques, and strategies.
      Leadership & Communication:
      Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor players and coaching staff.
        Recruiting Ability :
        Proven experience in identifying and securing top-tier position talent, with strong recruiting connections.
          Compliance Knowledge:
          Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
            Technology Proficiency:
            Experience with film analysis software (e.g., HUDL, XOS), recruiting databases, and playbook development tools. Preferred Qualifications
            • Master's degree preferred
            • Proven track record of player development and defensive success.
            • Strong network and ability to attract high-caliber student-athletes.
            • Experience in managing defensive game planning and adjustments.
