Beaverton - Summer Sports Camp Coach Elite Sports Academy Beaverton, OR Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time $16 - $20 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications School experience Teamwork Swimming Working with students Working with youth Camp Full Job Description ESA is hiring Summer School Coaches to support our sports-based youth programming at Beaverton School District summer school sites . We are currently hiring for multiple coach positions across seven Beaverton School District locations . This is a great summer opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with kids, leading sports and games, and being part of a positive, high-energy team. As an ESA Summer School Coach, you will help create a safe, fun, structured, and encouraging environment for students. Coaches will lead groups of kids through sports-based activities, games, stations, and daily programming while working alongside ESA leadership, site directors, and fellow coaches. Key Responsibilities Lead students through daily sports-based activities, games, and stations Create a fun, safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants Model and promote the mission, values, and guiding principles of Elite Sports Academy Assist the Site Director and other coaches with daily programming and operational needs Help with daily setup, cleanup, transitions, and activity rotations Maintain awareness of student safety, medical conditions, food allergies, and behavior needs Ensure students follow ESA and school site policies and procedures Motivate students to participate in age-appropriate activities Lead by example with a positive attitude, strong energy, and professionalism Communicate any student, parent, or site concerns to the appropriate ESA leadership Work as a team with fellow coaches to follow schedules, assigned stations, and daily plans The ESA Summer School Coach position reports directly to the ESA Site Director or Camp Director. Qualifications Experience playing, coaching, or helping lead sports-based activities preferred Camp counselor, childcare, school, or youth program experience is a plus Strong teamwork and communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Interest in athletics, coaching, youth development, education, sports management, or community engagement Must enjoy working with kids Minimum 18 years of age Position Details Summer seasonal position Multiple openings available Beaverton School District summer school locations Sports-based youth programming Must be dependable, professional, and ready to bring great energy every day Elite Sports Academy is looking for coaches who care about kids, bring positive energy, and want to be part of a meaningful summer program.
