Job Summary:
Job Description We seek a dedicated Gymnastics Coach to deliver inspiring, safe, and fun gymnastics programs for youth. The coach will plan and implement lessons that encourage skill development, build confidence, and promote physical fitness in a structured yet welcoming environment. Strong emphasis on positive youth development, mentorship, and fostering a love for movement. Requirements
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous experience coaching gymnastics or similar youth athletic programs (preferred 1+ year).
  • Background check clearance and adherence to child-safety protocols. Employer Notes Qualified candidates must be able to:
  • Create lesson plans tailored to varying skill levels.
  • Supervise children and maintain a safe environment.
  • Demonstrate and explain gymnastics techniques clearly.
  • Manage classroom and gym behavior with positive discipline.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, volunteers, and staff.
  • Adapt activities to different ages and abilities. Job Duties
  • Design and deliver age-appropriate gymnastics classes and clinics.
  • Instruct participants in basic through intermediate gymnastics skills (balance, flexibility, strength).
  • Ensure equipment is safe and properly used for each session.
  • Monitor each child's progress; provide encouragement and feedback.
  • Enforce safety rules and enforce policies consistently.
  • Coordinate with other staff for program schedules and special events.
  • Maintain attendance records, equipment logs, and incident reports.
Hours
Part-time:
10'20 hours per week. Typical schedule: afternoons and early evenings on weekdays, occasional Saturdays. Additional hours possible during school breaks or special events.
Wages / Benefits
Pay range: $15'$18 per hour DOE (based on experience and certifications). Access to professional development and coaching workshops.
