Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Boys Gymnastics Coach to inspire young athletes and foster their growth in the exciting sport of gymnastics. In this r​ole, you will lead boys' and Co-ed gymnastics classes, teach classes based on pre-made lessons, and promote a positive, safe environment for all children. Our gym believes in "hire the personality, train the skill," so no gymnastics or coaching experience is required. Don't worry, we will teach you everything you need to know. We are looking for energetic, positive, and dependable individuals who love working with kids and are excited to learn. Coaches will lead recreational gymnastics classes using provided lesson plans, help create a positive class atmosphere, manage behavior with patience and consistency, and ensure all safety standards are followed. Responsibilities also include setting up and putting away equipment, helping to keep the gym clean and organized, communicating professionally with parents and staff, and being a positive role model for athletes. Coaches must be willing to learn new skills, accept feedback, and grow within our program. Applicants must be at least 15 years old, have reliable transportation, and a working cellular device. A background check is required. Strong communication skills, a team-player attitude, and an outgoing personality are essential. We also ask that all applicants be prepared to stay for an extended period of time. As this job works with young children, and children often become emotionally attached to coaches and mentors commitment and dependability are essential parts of being in this position. All required training, safety education, and certifications are provided and paid for by the gym. From $14.50 per hour
