Athletic Director and School Principal Position Summary:
The High School Volleyball Coach is responsible for initiating various aspects of the Volleyball Program, such as recruiting within the school, training, and coaching the members of the Basketball program.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist in coordination of the development and promotion of the Volleyball program. Maintain constant check of student athlete's grades and conduct. Assess player's skill and assign team positions. Work with AD to organize and schedule practice sessions. Teach life skills and develop character. Effectively communicate with the athletic director, parents, players, and administrators. Determine game strategy based on the team's capabilities. Maintain and secure all Volleyball equipment and uniforms. Manage court care and maintenance. Administrative tasks include ensuring all eligibility documents are completed and submitted. Inventory documentation is turned in on time. Holding parents/guardians meetings and meetings with all student athletes. Must follow established procedures in the event of an athlete's injury. Must represent Spray School District and the Volleyball program in a professional manner at all times. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Type 20 vehicle Drivers endorsement through ODE.=
Other Duties:
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or other appropriated administrators.

Assistant coaches and players.

Minimum Qualifications:
2 years' verifiable age equivalent volleyball coaching experience is preferred. A proven track record with age appropriate skill and program development is preferred. First Aid and CPR certification OSAA trainings and Mandatory Vector Trainings is required for coaching.
