Assistant Coach Position Summary Lehigh Valley Academy is seeking experienced and enthusiastic coaches to join our athletics department for the 2026-2027 winter basketball season.

We are hiring for several coaching roles at the high school, middle school, and elementary levels, including a key leadership position to coordinate our Youth Basketball Program. Assistant and head coaching roles at the middle and high school levels will support player development, team-building, and competitive performance while fostering sportsmanship and school spirit. Responsibilities Plan and lead skill-appropriate practices and game strategies Supervise players during all practices, games, and travel Promote team collaboration, sportsmanship, and student growth Coordinate with athletic leadership, school staff, and families Ensure adherence to school and league policies for eligibility, conduct, and safety Qualifications Prior experience coaching or playing basketball (school or club level) preferred Knowledge of basketball rules, technique, and skill progression Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Commitment to youth development and student-athlete well-being Must meet all PA Department of Education clearance requirements
