Bryn Mawr College women's soccer program has an opening for a part-time Goalkeeper Coach. This position reports directly to the Head Women's Soccer Coach and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of operating a competitive NCAA Division III women's soccer program, with experience in coaching goalkeepers. This is a part-time, temporary position, from August 2026 through May 2027. Work schedules may include mornings, evenings, weekends and occasional holidays. Bryn Mawr is committed to building and sustaining a campus community where faculty and staff can thrive.Characteristic Responsibilities:
Coaching & Player Development - Lead the design and execution of specialized goalkeeper training sessions, individual player development plans, and comprehensive game strategies to drive athletic excellence.Performance Analysis & Preparation:
Oversee game and practice preparation through rigorous scouting, video analysis, and data-driven feedback to optimize team performance in competition.Strategic Recruitment:
Identify and evaluate prospective student-athletes, managing the recruitment lifecycle in strict accordance with NCAA, conference, and institutional regulationsStudent-Athlete Development:
Demonstrate a commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes, emphasizing academic success, athletic excellence, personal growth and leadership on and off the fieldProgram Support:
Provide dedicated administrative and tactical support to the Head Coach, executing additional duties as assigned to ensure program continuity. Manage team meal planning and travel logistics for home and away competitions, as needed. Adherence to all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations while representing the institution with high professional integrity. is essential. Qualification Bachelor's Degree required. Coaching experience at high-school, club, college or professional level. Availability to work varied hours and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to manage competing priorities and drive multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision and a strong initiative. Attention to detail, maintaining a consistent standard of accuracy and thoroughness in all administrative and technical tasks. An appreciation and understanding of the role athletics play in a rigorous academic setting is essential. A team-oriented mindset with a dedicated focus on fostering a positive, inclusive culture within the program, the athletic department, and the broader campus community. First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred. Valid Driver's License. Satisfactory completion of successful background checks.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform, teach, and demonstrate technical aspects of assigned sport. The assistant coach will be required to work in varying weather conditions.Additional Information:
