Job Description Strength & Conditioning Coach for
Morning Group Strength Sessions Job Summary :
Under general direction of owners and head strength coach, candidates will program, implement, instruct, and monitor strength and conditioning, and cardio and muscular endurance sessions with with a variety of age groups including older adults; assists with modifications to exercises when necessary; assists in upkeep and management of strength and conditioning facility.
CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include any and/or all of the following: Implements, conducts, and monitors strength and conditioning programs for multiple sport athletes, adults in cardio /strength endurance sessions and older adults in longevity training Taking on private training clients as needed - this is in addition to the coaching hours and is paid at a separate rate per session. Performs other duties as assigned including maintaining an orderly facility
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Understand and commit to honoring a schedule and our commitment to our members to show up for them Exceptional relationship building and conversational skills a must with a variety of age groups Ability to show your unique personality while exercising your strength & conditiioning knowledge and maintaining professionalism as you coach Knowledge of and personal experience with strength & conditioning exercises and proper technique Knowledge of basic strength and conditioning equipment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience equivalent to: Must be available for sessions starting at 5:00am and later morning as well Previous participation as an athlete on a sports team is ideal Previous experience working with older adults in some capacity One (1) year of relatable weight training experience NASM or ACSM or other similar certification or willing to obtain a preferred certification

$20.00 - $45.00 per hour
