Job Description:
The Part-Time Assistant Softball Coach will assist the Head Coach with practices, games, player development, recruiting, and overall team operations. The ideal candidate will have strong softball knowledge, communication skills, and a commitment to developing college student-athletes.
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and conducting team practices and workouts. Provide instruction and development in softball fundamentals and position-specific skills. Assist with game preparation, in-game coaching, scouting, and team strategy. Support recruiting efforts, camps, clinics, and team events as needed. Help maintain a positive, competitive, and professional team environment.
Availability & Travel:
Must be available to participate in most team practices throughout the season. Must have flexibility for games, tournaments, evenings, and weekends as needed. Minimum Requirements:
Previous softball playing or coaching experience required. Strong knowledge of softball fundamentals and strategy. Ability to work effectively with college-aged student-athletes. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Requirements:
Collegiate softball coaching or playing experience preferred.
