Until Filled The Plum Borough School District is seeking a passionate, energetic, and student-centered leader to serve as the Swimming Varsity Assistant Coach. This individual will oversee all aspects of the school district's swimming program, including athlete development, conditioning, practices, meet preparation, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive team culture centered on sportsmanship, accountability, teamwork, personal growth, and competitive excellence. We are looking for a coach who is committed to supporting the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes while building strong relationships with students, families, staff, and the broader school community. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. CPR/AED certification is required. Evidence of current NFHS Concussion in Sports, CDC Heads Up, or state-approved concussion training certification is required in accordance with PIAA and Pennsylvania interscholastic athletic participation standards. Current Lifeguard Certification is required. USA Swimming Coach Membership in good standing, including completion of all required athlete safety and coaching education components, is preferred. Prior competitive swimming coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level is strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of advanced swim training, athlete conditioning, performance development, and aquatic safety practices is highly desirable. Postings current as of 6/13/2026 4:13:52 AM CST.
