A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.

What You'll Do As a Foundation Athletics Coach, you'll help athletes ages 8-18 develop in every aspect of their game.
Responsibilities include:
Lead speed, agility, strength, and athletic performance sessions. Teach proper movement mechanics and sport-specific fundamentals. Create a positive, energetic, and competitive training environment. Build confidence and leadership in every athlete. Encourage accountability, discipline, and teamwork. Communicate professionally with parents and athletes. Assist with camps, combines, clinics, and community events. Represent Foundation Athletics with professionalism on and off the field. Who We're Looking For The ideal coach is someone who: ✔ Loves working with young athletes ✔ Has coaching, playing, or athletic training experience ✔ Leads by example ✔ Is dependable and punctual ✔ Has high energy and excellent communication skills ✔ Believes character development is just as important as athletic performance ✔ Wants to help grow an organization, not just collect a paycheck Preferred Qualifications High school, college, or youth coaching experience Playing experience in competitive athletics Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check Compensation This is currently a performance-based independent contractor position designed for coaches who want to grow with our organization.
