As a cosch, you will play a vital role in fostering growth, building confidence, and teaching life skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students while developing your childcare skills in a dynamic environment. Your energy, passion for education, and commitment to student success will help create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere. Duties Plan and facilitate arts & crafts projects that encourage creativity and self-expression. Organize and supervise sports and active games to promote teamwork, fitness, and fun. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students at all times. Drive the mini school bus to assist with transporting students from their school to the after-school program site (no CDL required, but a clean driving record is a must, and all training will be provided) Qualifications Proven experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, babysitting, or tutoring settings Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Excellent classroom management skills to create a safe and productive learning environment Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or behavioral challenges Experience with behavior management techniques and child safety protocols such as first aid certification preferred Passion for education with a genuine desire to support student growth academically and socially Effective communication skills to collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators Background in sports coaching, theater arts, or other extracurricular activities is a plus but not required Join us, and be part of an inspiring team dedicated to transforming lives of kids!
