Job Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Athlete Development & Coaching Lead organized, goal-oriented practices for Level 1-4 teams Coach stunts at Level 1-4 level Provide individualized corrections and feedback to enhance athlete performance Encourage strength, flexibility, conditioning, and injury prevention Routine Design & Execution Build competitive routines (stunts, tumbling, jumps, dance) Clean, refine, and elevate routines to meet scoring expectations Prepare teams for competitions, showcases, and performances Safety & Compliance Maintain a consistently safe and structured training environment Properly spot athletes and enforce all gym safety standards Keep certifications up to date (CPR, First Aid, safety training) Team Leadership & Communication Foster team unity, accountability, and strong sportsmanship Communicate clearly with athletes, parents, and gym leadership Monitor athlete attendance and track skill progression Promote an inclusive, positive team culture Competition Readiness Prepare athletes both mentally and physically for competition Attend and travel to events as required Ensure teams are confident, prepared, and performance-readyQUALIFICATIONS
Previous All-Star cheer coaching experience (Level 2+ required; Level 3,4 preferred) Strong understanding of Level 2+ tumbling, stunting, and scoring systems Ability to motivate athletes across varying skill levels Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, professional, and collaborative mindsetWORK ENVIRONMENT & EXPECTATIONS
Evening and weekend availability required (approximately 10-14 coaching hours and 1-2 administrative hours weekly) Current team practices twice weekly for 2 hours, with additional required tumbling classes based on athlete skill level Ability to actively coach, stand, and spot for extended periods Travel required during competition seasonPay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:
