Building Principal and Athletic Director Position Matrix Job Type Supplemental Job Title Assistant Coach (Paid), Football Location Houston County High School Contract Duration Coaching contracts last for one school year, at which time they may be renewed by the building principal and/or athletic director. Coaches are expected to perform their duties and schedule practices and contests in accordance with the best interests of the student-athletes and guidelines from relevant governing bodies. Compensation Supplemental contracts provide a percentage increase to the employee's base salary or a flat salary for non-employees. Contact the building principal or athletic director for more information. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must pass a background check Preferred Be a current employee in good standing in the HCSD Possess relevant experience in the sport Other Requirements Be able to learn and follow all applicable policies from all relevant governing bodies Effectively and ethically carry out coaching duties assigned by the head coach Establish and maintain high standards for academic achievement, attendance, and behavior for student-athletes Job Description Houston County High School seeks an Assistant Football Coach. This is a compensated position. You will assist the head coach to develop student-athletes' fundamentals, strategic understanding, and sportsmanship, while fostering academic success and personal growth both on and off the field.
