Strength & Conditioning Coach Department Strength & Conditioning Position Category Staff Full Time Job Description The Director of Strength and Conditioning is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive strength and conditioning program for the Department of Athletics and its student-athletes. Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related field;
• Credentialing from National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA);
• CPR/First Aid certification. Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent organizational and management skills;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Flexible schedule;
• Thorough knowledge of strength and conditioning programs;
• Well-rounded knowledge of a wide variety of sports.

Physical Demands Campus Harrogate Job Duty Job Duty Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large; Job Duty Develop, implement and supervise the strength and conditioning programs for each sport program at the University; Job Duty Participate in efforts to collect, analyze and report data for the athletic department in the University s planning, assessment, and evaluation processes for institutional effectiveness; Job Duty Assist in the production of outcomes-assessment and long range planning for the athletic department; Job Duty Maintain an inventory and order equipment and supplies as needed for proper maintenance of the weight room facilities; Job Duty Maintain the excellent condition of the weight room facilities; Job Duty Prepare and submit a proposed budget to the Athletic Director; Job Duty Participate in various fundraising activities for the program and the Department; Job Duty Adhere to all NCAA and South Atlantic Conference rules; Job Duty Complete all required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports as necessary for the operation and advancement of the University; Job Duty Teach up to 6 credit hours of appropriate University and/or JFWA courses, the equivalent thereof; Job Duty Other assignments and duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
