Description:
Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School is seeking a dynamic, experienced High School Assistant Track & Field Coach. The ideal candidate will have coaching experience with sprints, relays, long jump, and triple jump. This role requires a proven background in coaching track & field, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a genuine passion for guiding student-athletes to grow both athletically and personally. The assistant coach will help to foster a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence while mentoring students in character, discipline, and academic balance.

Faith and Mission Serve as a daily witness to Christ through professional conduct, leadership, and a vibrant faith life.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as an assistant track & field coach, specializing in sprints, relays, and jumps. Assist in planning practices that enhance skill development. Lead, motivate, and mentor student-athletes on and off the field. Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and parents to promote a positive athletic experience. Assist in managing team logistics, including scheduling, equipment, and game-day operations.
Qualifications:
Experience coaching middle school, high school, or collegiate track & field . Being a former track & field athlete is a bonus. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to fostering a student-centered environment emphasizing character and personal growth.
