Job Overview Club Unite Volleyball is seeking positive, dependable, and enthusiastic volleyball coaches to join our Knoxville coaching staff. We are hiring head coaches, assistant coaches, and individuals interested in helping with skills and positional training. This is a part-time, seasonal position with weekday evening practices and tournaments on select weekends. Our coaches do more than teach volleyball. They help athletes develop confidence, accountability, teamwork, resilience, and a genuine love for being part of a team. We are looking for coaches who can provide quality instruction while creating an encouraging environment where athletes feel comfortable learning, competing, and making mistakes. Volleyball playing or coaching experience is preferred, but we are also willing to help the right person grow into the role. Former players, college athletes, teachers, school coaches, and individuals with experience working with young athletes are encouraged to apply. Practice time is paid hourly. Coaches also receive a separate stipend for assigned tournaments, along with approved food and gas assistance for tournament travel. Duties Plan and lead organized, age-appropriate practices Teach volleyball fundamentals, team systems, and game strategy Create a positive environment where athletes feel supported and challenged Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, directors, and other coaches Attend assigned practices, tournaments, meetings, and training sessions Encourage teamwork, confidence, accountability, and good sportsmanship Provide constructive instruction while helping athletes learn without fearing mistakes Represent Club Unite professionally at practices, tournaments, and club activities Skills Volleyball playing or coaching experience is preferred Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and rules Dependable, organized, encouraging, and comfortable leading young athletes Strong communication and relationship-building skills Available during evening practice hours and on assigned tournament weekends Willing to travel for tournaments when required by the assigned team Must complete required background checks and coaching certifications College players, former players, teachers, school coaches, and club coaches are encouraged to apply. Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
