Job Description

Mt. Juliet Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Girls Soccer Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes in a Christ-centered environment. As a ministry of First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet, MJCA is committed to partnering with families in developing students to think, lead, and live as Christians based upon a biblical worldview . The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who is passionate about soccer, committed to mentoring high school girls, and able to model Christ-like character both on and off the field. Mount Juliet Christian Academy is a ministry of First Baptist Church Mount Juliet, and all MJCA employees affirm and agree to uphold the doctrines outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, as well as the beliefs and teachings of FBCMJ. Position Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the high school girls soccer program Plan and conduct daily practices focused on skill development, teamwork, conditioning, and sportsmanship Coach all games and team events Promote discipline, accountability, and positive team culture Mentor student-athletes in leadership, character, and spiritual growth Communicate effectively with players, parents, faculty, and athletic administration Ensure compliance with school and applicable athletic association guidelines Oversee team equipment, uniforms, and game-day preparation Support the overall mission and values of MJCA athletics Qualifications Previous soccer coaching and/or playing experience preferred Experience working with middle school students strongly preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Demonstrates a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ Commitment to Christian education and the mission of MJCA Ability to pass required background checks CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Preferred Attributes Prior experience in a Christian school environment Ability to disciple and mentor student-athletes Knowledge of TSSAA middle school athletic expectations and sportsmanship standards Passion for building a competitive and Christ-honoring program Time Commitment Seasonal position Practices and games are held after school during the soccer season Some evening and occasional weekend commitments may be required Compensation Coaching stipend commensurate with experience and school guidelines
